About Sus Kongsbak Larsen
My Story

I hold a lifelong dedication to inspiring individuals, families, couples and groups to embrace peace. On my 5th Grade report card my teacher wrote, "We can always count on Sus to bring calm to uproared waters", a Danish expression for transforming turmoil to tranquility. As a child I was a popular play-date amongst parents because of the calming effects I would have on their children. I could often be found in the ring of fire helping adversaries communicate and settle their disputes peacefully. On a person-to-person level I have a history of attracting who seek to be heard and understood, come to peace with themselves and their surroundings and have guided thousands in resolving their inner conflict.
My passion for peace became my livelihood after I found myself engaged in a lengthy court process with my son's father over custody of our then infant child. Knowing that I had found my calling, I gave up the security of my international finance career for the study and practice of mediation, life coaching, and energy work. Since then, I have been committed to helping individuals and families avoid and overcome the long-lasting traumatic pain that my son's dad and I endured during our custody battle, as couples and individually. I work with my clients to solidify relationships of peaceful collaboration and strengthened potential for healthy co-parenting and brighter futures ahead.
In 2004, I founded On~Hudson Mediation Center to provide family and divorce mediation services.
Two years later I added one-on-one life coaching to my services primarily to support clients on a deeper level in their inner process related to loss, breakup, and divorce and have supported and guided hundreds on their journey to rediscover their Inner Light and Essence, resulting in self-acceptance and emotional freedom to establish and maintain peaceful relationships.
Offering my services as a wedding officiant, my work is wonderfully balanced in Peace achievement "Before, During, and After". I delight in assisting individuals and couples peacefully and confidently enter into conscious and sacred marriage and relationship.
I work globally, providing session by phone or skype, as well as in-person at my office in Glens Falls, New York.
