Premarital and Relationship Mediation - FAQ's
Q: What is mediation?
A: Mediation is an alternative, collaborative way for you to reach an agreement and resolve disputes, even in heightened levels of conflict, in which all participants are heard and work together, with the facilitation of the mediator, to make decisions that are workable for all involved.
Your mediator is neutral and you will enjoy equal attention and respect without judgment. Mediation is confidential. Your privacy is fully respected at all times, with the exception of evidence of harm to self or others. What happens in the mediation setting stays there. In fact, you will agree to refrain from calling upon me as a witness, as well as any notes or product from the mediation, in any judicial process.
Mediation is voluntary. You are free to leave the process if you feel it does not serve you.
